1. Information We Collect

When you use Facelify, we act as a secure processor for biometric facial verification uploaded by businesses and developers. This includes:

  • Reference Images: Images of onboarding documents or registered faces submitted via /api/v1/register.
  • Verification Selfies: Live selfies submitted via /api/v1/verify.
  • Biometric Vectors: Encrypted mathematical face maps processed in-memory by Amazon Rekognition.
  • Audit Logs: Timestamps, comparison verdicts, similarity percentages, and API key identifiers.

2. How Data is Processed

Facial images are uploaded directly to isolated Amazon S3 buckets equipped with server-side encryption. Facial comparisons are executed using Amazon Rekognition deep neural networks with an 85%+ default similarity threshold. Results are returned to your server in under 200ms.

3. Data Retention & Erasure

Reference face vectors can be deleted at any time through our console API tools or upon request. Audit logs are maintained for billing and security monitoring. If you require complete data purging for specific user IDs, email us at hello@webappdigitalsolutions.com.
